Cell Block Tango - Collaboration with Body Synergy

​

‘Crime as entertainment', is the central source of inspiration for the 

project. 'Chicago' was based on 2 real murder trials, showing 

us how our culture commercialises crime and turns it into 

entertainment; rather than finding true justice. 

 

I made 3 bespoke contrasting costumes for the main dancers 

to perform the Cell Block Tango inspired routine. All costumes 

have been made along side choreography ensuring practicality for 

use on a pole.
